Windows Laptop Recommendations

Tags Laptop

Windows devices are recommended for academic coursework unless another device is specified by the academic program. Dell devices can be purchased directly through the Member Purchase Portal at a discounted rate. Students will need to create an account and complete the purchase using their Ferris.edu email address to qualify for the discounted pricing. IT Services has provided recommendations for technical specifications below.

If you are a Kendall Student, please get in touch with your Advisor or faculty in your major to help figure out the device requirement.

Please Note: The IT Solution Center can provide warranty repair services for Dell devices. If you purchase another brand of computer, and it is under warranty, you will need to work with the warranty vendor for hardware repairs if the device is physically damaged or a part needs to be replaced.
