Overview
Keeping your MFA methods up to date is important. Deleting ones you no longer use is necessary in order to avoid being locked out of your account.
Prerequisites
A Ferris Microsoft 365 account.
Resolution
- Navigate to office.ferris.edu in your browser and type your email address into the box. Select Next and enter in your account password. Select the Sign in button.
- Once logged into your account you will see a screen like the image below; select your account name on the lower left of the screen.
- Once you have selected your account name, Select the View Account link.
- After selecting View account, a new tab will open. Select the Security info from the left-hand menu or select UPDATE INFO.
- Select Delete next to the MFA you want to remove.
