Overview
I need my monitor to show up brighter. I checked the system set up and it shows at 100% but the screen is dim.
Prerequisites
Windows machine attached to a monitor
Resolution
There are some advanced display settings that may affect the brightness of the display.
1. Search Windows by Clicking Start and type Power in the search bar.
2. Click Edit power plan under Settings.
3. In the window that opens, click the link Change advanced power settings.
4. Expand Display, and verify that Display brightness and Dimmed display brightness are set to 100%
5. Click Apply and OK.
