Instructions for Connecting to Dymo Label Printer in PHR 112:

Windows instructions (For version 1.5.0.17):

  1. Follow the link to download Dymo Connect: https://www.dymo.com/support?cfid=user-guide

  3. Run DCDSetup(version number).exe
  4. Select language and click OK
  5. Hit next and then select I accept the terms in the license agreement after reading the contract

  7. Select the complete setup type and then select Install
  8. Complete by selecting Finish (Deselect "Improve DYMO Products" if you do not wish to participate in the program)
  9. Ensure your device is connected to the PHR112 WiFi network
  10. Once the software has installed, go to Printers & Scanners within Windows Settings and select Add Device

  13. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)In the dropdown box for device type, select Autodetect and enter 10.20.0.7 or 10.20.0.8 (Depending on the side of the room you are trying to print to). Hit next

  16. Add a custom name if desired or leave default name and hit next
  17. Do not share the printer, hit next, and then finish
  18. The printer is now available through the DYMO Connect software

 

 

 

 

For general printing, use these instructions to connect to the HP printer:

For Windows devices, complete the following steps:

(Scroll down for Mac devices)

  1. Ensure connectivity to Bulldogs WiFi network has been established. 
  2. Navigate to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1716406-1413451-16 (Or search "HP Smart" in Microsoft Store and skip step 3)
  3. Click on the "HP Smart" link in option 1

  5. The link will navigate to the Microsoft store. Click Download and then run the file from the downloads folder.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Once HP Smart starts, select Decline Optional Data.
  7. At the top, select Add Printer.

  9. Type 10.20.0.6 and then press enter. Once the printer appears, click to add it. 
    If the device does not appear when the IP address is searched, ensure the device is connected to the Bulldogs network.

  10. Select Print Documents from the HP Smart app and select Install when prompted. This will install the appropriate driver.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  11. To remove HP Smart app, navigate to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps, click on the three dots on the right side and select Uninstall.

For Mac devices, complete the following steps:

  1. Ensure connectivity to Bulldogs WiFi network has been established. 
  2. Navigate to https://www.hpsmart.com/us/en and click on appropriate download button (in this case, “Mac App Store”) or simply open the App store on your Mac and search for “HP Smart”.

  1. Click “Get” on the "HP Smart for Desktop" app

  1. Click Install and then click Open
  2. Once HP Smart starts, select Decline Optional Data.
  3. At the top, click “Set Up a New Printer”.

  1. Click Allow to allow HP Smart Local Network Permission (or open Permissions, Click Local Network, find HP Smart, and toggle on.
  2. Select “Already connected to network”

  1. Select Add Using IP Address.
  2. Type 10.20.0.6 and then press enter. Once the printer appears, click to add it, and then click Yes when the app asks “Is this your printer?”

  1. Select Print Documents

  1. After you click Print Documents for the first time, HP will require you to register for a free HP Smart account.  Follow the instructions that appear to complete that process.
  2.  Once you have an account and are signed in to the HP Smart App, you should now be able to print through the HP Smart App.
