How to set up MFA for Office365 via Phone

Prerequisites

Have a cell phone that accepts phone calls as well as have a Ferris Microsoft Account

Resolution

1. After you enter your credentials in the popup window of the outlook client, Microsoft will prompt More information required. Select NEXT.    

2. Select I want to set up a different method
   
   
    
3. Select Phone or Office Phone
   
    
    
4.  Input phone number (input fields will vary slightly based on if you chose office phone or phone option) and select Call Me and click Next

        5. You should get a phone call from Microsoft, verify that the call is not being screened, answer the call, and press # on the phone and click Done
