How to set up MFA for Office365 via text

Prerequisites

Have a phone number that accepts sms texts as well as a Ferris Microsoft Account

Resolution

1. After you enter your credentials in the popup window of the outlook client, Microsoft will prompt More information required. Select NEXT.    

2. Select I want to set up a different method
   
    
3. Select Phone 
4. Input phone number and select Receive a code and click Next
5. You should see the screen as shown below and will get a text from Microsoft with a code to enter. Once you get this code, enter it into the box and click Next, Next, Done.
