While searching for a wireless network, you may come across a number of unsecured connections; the names will likely be Linksys, D-link, Workgroup or random names. Due to security concerns, the University does not support any unsecured connections. Be advised that the use of an unsecured network by a person other than the network owner is considered by some branches of law enforcement as illegal.
