How To - Disable Startup Programs

Overview

Want to speed up startup by disabling programs from starting automatically at launch?

Prerequisites

Windows device only

Resolution

  1. Press Ctrl +Alt + Delete at the same time on the keyboard.
  2. Click Task Manager.
  3. Click the Startup tab. Every program that starts when Windows boots up is listed here

  1. To disable an item, right click on it and click Disable.
  2. When done, close the Task Manager. Changes will apply next time the computer restarts.
