Disable Windows Defender Smartscreen Error

Windows Defender Smartscreen Error keeps popping up. Blue box pops up

Prerequisites

Windows machine

Resolution

  1. Run the application.
  2. If Windows Defender SmartScreen pops up, click the Don’t Run button.

  1.  Find the EXE on the computer (probably downloads or desktop, where ever the file was downloaded to). 
  2.  Right Click the .Exe file and click Properties

  1.  On the General tab, check the box to Unblock the application. Click OK to close the Properties window.
