How To - Clear Password(s) From Windows Credential Manager

Overview

Issues logging into Microsoft or Adobe Products on a windows machine.

Prerequisites

Devices with Windows OS.

Resolution

1. Click Start

2. Type Credential Manager

3. Select the Windows Credentials option.

4. Locate the set of credentials that has either Outlook, Microsoft Office or Adobe in the name and then expand the corresponding entry.

5. Click Remove from Vault or Remove (depending upon which version of Windows is running).

6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Outlook or Microsoft Office in the name. 

7. Try logging into the application again.
